If you’re someone who keeps arriving at the same result and is ready to change it, then join us for this four-day guided retreat in Hungary, where you’ll come away able to pause, choose what is right for you, and keep doing it long after you leave.
Imagine opening your eyes after a session with a sense of clarity, and having found the courage to make the decision you postponed.
Increase the stress, fatigue and overwhelm in your everyday life
Make it hard to reach goals
Create a feeling of being stuck, not able to move forward the way you want
Produce the same results over and over again despite you wanting something different
Make it difficult to connect with yourself and loved ones
We dive right in with both practice and knowledge and how you will work with your intention through the weekend.
We awaken the body with a movement practice.
We work deeper both with knowledge and practice.
We spend integrating the intention and experience and suggest a home practice.
This retreat is for you if you keep arriving at the same result in your life and you’re ready to change it. Guests come for mental clarity, a deeper connection with themselves, self-love, and support with burnout, stress and anxiety.
You’ll set an intention before you arrive — something you want to achieve or change in yourself — and the four days work with that intention and with what has to be released for you to reach it.
Come ready to be challenged mentally, physically and emotionally. That’s where growth happens. The flow also adapts to the group, so come open to the programme shifting as the days go on.
No. Everything is taught and guided from the ground up, and you’ll be supported through each practice. Guests who arrive with experience go deeper into familiar territory, and repeating this work takes you further each time.
Siv Jøssang Shields and Krisztián Kormány. You’ll be guided by both of them across the four days.
Siv is a chiropractor and physiologist with over 30 years of clinical experience. She is a certified TRE® Provider instructor working directly with Dr David Berceli, a master SOMA Breath instructor, a certified hypnotherapist and a trauma-informed HeartMath practitioner. She is co-founder of Neurogenic Integration and The Integrated Human.
Krisz is a breathwork instructor and educator from Hungary with more than eight years of practice. A SOMA Breath master instructor, he runs his own instructor training school and combines breathwork, somatic exercises and coherence breathing. He also composes the original music used in his sessions.
They have run this retreat together before.
English. Krisz speaks Hungarian and is available for translation and one-to-one support in Hungarian throughout.
Tears, laughter, shaking and waves of emotion are a normal part of this work, and both facilitators have run these practices with groups for years.
You choose your own depth in every exercise, and you can slow down, rest or step out at any point. Time for integration, journaling and conversation is built into each day, and we’re available to you between sessions.
Come sober, and keep it that way. Several of the practices are unsafe in combination with alcohol or recreational drugs, so do not arrive at any session under the influence, and do not bring, use or share either during the retreat. This one protects you rather than just keeping order.
What another guest shares in a session stays in the room. Do not repeat it, record it or post it anywhere without that person’s explicit permission. Your own experience is yours to talk about freely.
Treat the other guests, the facilitators and the venue staff with respect. Behaviour that is abusive or threatening ends a participation, without a refund for the remaining days.
Read the contraindications in full in our Terms and Conditions before you book. You are the one who decides whether this retreat is right for you, so please take that reading seriously. If you’re unsure, speak to a medical professional first.
The main points:
Pregnancy is a contraindication for all three core practices — TRE, the breathwork and the cacao.
TRE. Do not practise TRE if you are pregnant, or if you have epilepsy or a seizure disorder, active schizophrenia, or recent open-wound surgery. Take extra care and stay under guidance if you find self-regulation difficult, have physical pain that increases with tremoring, or are under psychiatric treatment. If you have a complex trauma history, fragile psychological defences or significant physical limitations, get your medical practitioner’s consent before taking part.
Breathwork. Do not do forceful mouth breathing, prolonged breath holds or intense fast breathing if you are pregnant, or if you have a pacemaker, an irregular heartbeat, epilepsy, severe uncontrolled hypertension, organ failure, late-stage terminal illness, or a severe illness or infection affecting your breathing — unless your doctor has given specific permission. Tinnitus and hernias can be aggravated by this kind of breathing.
Cacao. Ceremonial cacao is a stimulant related to caffeine and contains MAO-inhibiting compounds. Speak to your doctor first if you take SSRI or MAOI medication, have a heart condition, or have high or low blood pressure. Cacao amplifies the effect of other substances in your system.
Guided meditation. Guided meditation and brainwave entrainment can bring on altered states of consciousness and, rarely, dissociation or a sudden release of previously suppressed emotion or memory.
Morning movement. Morning sessions involve gentle movement and stretching. If you have a recent injury, a joint condition, or have had recent surgery, work at your own pace and tell your facilitator beforehand. Movement can be modified or skipped in any session.
If you have a current or past diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD with active symptoms, psychosis, suicidal ideation, or another psychiatric condition or emotional crisis that has required or could require hospitalisation, get clearance from your treating medical professional before registering.
This retreat is education and personal development. It is not healthcare, medical treatment or psychotherapy, and no one here diagnoses or treats a medical or psychological condition. If you are under the care of a medical or psychiatric professional, or take medication for a diagnosed condition, consult them before booking.
You must be 18 or older to attend. When you register you’ll be asked for an emergency contact’s name and phone number, held solely for use in a medical emergency during the retreat.
We begin on Thursday March 18 at 15:00 CET and finish on Sunday 15 March after lunch.
Check-in at the venue opens at 14:00 on Thursday, giving you an hour to settle in before we start. Check-out is at 14:00 on Sunday, so there’s no rush to pack up after lunch.
When booking travel, plan to arrive in Taliándörögd by 14:30 on Thursday at the latest. For Sunday, allow around two and a half hours to reach Budapest airport from the venue, plus check-in time, when choosing your flight.
The retreat is held at Kerekegy Panzió in Taliándörögd, a village in the Balaton Uplands surrounded by the hills and springs of the Bakony. The address is Kossuth u. 18, 8295 Taliándörögd.
By car, it’s about two hours from central Budapest and closer to two and a half from Ferenc Liszt International Airport, which sits on the far side of the city from us. Come via Veszprém or Tapolca on road 77 through Kapolcs, or from the Balaton side, leave the 71 at Zánka towards Nagyvázsony and pick up the 77 at Kapolcs. Free parking is available in the venue’s closed courtyard — tell us when you book so a space is reserved.
Taliándörögd has no railway station. The nearest are Veszprém, Tapolca and Ajka, with a long-distance bus onward to the village.
Full travel directions come with your booking confirmation.
The price covers the retreat itself: four days of guided sessions with both facilitators, all course materials, and the practices and tools you take home with you.
Accommodation and all meals are separate, and paid directly to the venue in cash on arrival — EUR 375 per person, covering three nights and all meals across the four days. Travel to and from the venue, travel insurance and personal expenses are your own.
Use the Get your ticket button on this page. Booking, accepting the Terms and Conditions and signing the waiver all happen in one step, so read them before you register. The retreat fee is paid in full at that point, and your place is confirmed once payment goes through.
The retreat is organised jointly by The Integrated Human AS, a Norwegian company, and Krisztián Kormány, a Hungarian registered sole trader. Registering makes an agreement with both of us. The retreat fee is paid to Krisz’s business account, and refunds come from him.
The registration form asks for an emergency contact, your dietary requirements, your room preferences and anything else you would like us to know. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to all of it.
You’ll then receive your booking confirmation, travel directions, your intention-setting guide and the venue details.
Accommodation and food are paid separately, in cash, directly to the venue when you arrive — EUR 375 per person. The venue accepts HUF and EUR. Cards are not accepted, and there is no cash machine in Taliándörögd — the nearest are in Tapolca, Ajka, Nagyvázsony and Tótvázsony. Bring the full amount with you.
Yes. Arranging your own travel insurance and health cover for the full dates of the retreat is a condition of attending, and you confirm you have it when you book.
Make sure it covers medical treatment in Hungary, and cancelling or cutting short your trip. Neither of us provides this cover or arranges it for you, and neither of us is responsible for the cost of treatment, repatriation or travel disruption.
Travelling from outside the EU/EEA? Check your visa requirements before you book.
Accommodation is in shared rooms — 22 beds across the venue, allocated according to the existing room layout. Single rooms are not available this time.
If you’re travelling alone you don’t need to find a roommate yourself. We do the allocation and pair people of the same gender unless you tell us otherwise. Add any preference in the booking form, and if you’re coming with a friend or a partner just let us know and we’ll put you together.
Throughout the retreat, Gourmet GreenGo will prepare fresh, seasonal vegetarian meals that are colourful, nourishing and exceptionally flavourful. We have chosen lighter, plant-based food to support the body without weighing it down, helping you stay present for the deeper inner work of the retreat.
Meals are also a time to slow down, gather around the table, connect and enjoy truly wonderful food together.
If you have any allergies, intolerances or other dietary needs, please let us know when you book so the kitchen can plan properly.
Bring your own yoga mat, a blanket, a pillow and anything else that makes you comfortable lying on the floor for a long session. You’ll spend real time down there, and comfort matters more than you’d think.
Otherwise:
Cameras are off for almost the entire retreat. On rare occasions we bring a photographer, and we’ll tell you in advance when that happens.
Any material we do capture may be used by both of us in our own marketing — website, social media and publications — in any language or format, and you waive any claim to payment for that use.
Tell us before or during the retreat if you’d rather not appear, and we’ll take reasonable steps to keep you out of it. You can still take full part. Group shots and wide angles are difficult to guarantee.
If you need to cancel, what you get back depends on how much notice you give us:
If we cancel the retreat, you get the full fee back. That includes the case where we don’t reach our minimum number of guests, a call we make by 1 November 2026. If we end your participation for a reason other than your own conduct, you’ll be offered a pro-rated refund for the part of the retreat you miss.
Krisz holds the retreat fee, so refunds come from him. Write to him at info@kris.center, or to support@integrated-human.com and we’ll help sort it out.
Your place is personal to you, and passing it to someone else needs our agreement first. There are a limited number of places, priced and arranged against a fixed guest count, so a substitution we don’t know about disrupts the room and catering arrangements already made for the confirmed guest list. Talk to us and we’ll see what’s possible.
If something outside anyone’s control stops the retreat going ahead — illness, injury, a natural disaster — we’ll offer a new date or another fair solution where we can.
Two practical notes. Accommodation and food are paid to the venue on arrival, so there’s nothing to refund there, and the venue’s own terms apply to that side of your booking. And do take out travel insurance that covers cancellation, since the deadlines above count the days before the retreat rather than the reason you had to pull out.
A retreat is a leisure service tied to a fixed date, which places it outside the 14-day withdrawal right under Norwegian and EU consumer law. Nothing here removes any non-waivable consumer right you have under the law of your own country of residence. The full terms are in our Terms and Conditions.
Four days to release the pattern you keep repeating.
