The Integrated Retreat

Terms & Conditions

1. Who You’re Booking With

The Integrated Retreat is jointly organised by:

  • The Integrated Human AS (“TIH”), a Norwegian private limited company, organisation number 923 773 312, registered office Stallgata 10, 5700 Voss, Norway — providing the marketing platform, landing page, and Siv’s facilitation, and
  • Krisztián Kormány (“Krisz”), a Hungarian registered sole trader (egyéni vállalkozó), registration number 34677488, tax number 66396806-1-39, registered address Sáfrány u. 7/A, 8200 Veszprém, Hungary — providing local operations, music, movement, and his own facilitation, and collecting the retreat fee.

By registering, you’re entering an agreement with both. Krisz is an independent facilitator and co-organiser, not an employee, agent, or contractor of TIH. His sessions are his own independent practice, and the scope-of-practice limits in TIH’s general Terms apply equally to them.

2. What You’re Paying, and to Whom

The retreat fee covers facilitation and the retreat programme only. It is paid in full to Krisz’s business Revolut account, registered in Hungary. TIH does not receive, process, or hold this payment, and is not a party to that transaction.

No VAT is added to the retreat fee.

Accommodation and food are separate from the retreat fee, and are paid directly to the venue on arrival — cash is accepted. Neither TIH nor Krisz processes this payment or is responsible for it (see Section 9, Third Parties).

3. Eligibility & Your Booking

3.1 Age. You must be 18 or older to attend this retreat.

3.2 Non-transferable. Your booking is personal to you and cannot be transferred to someone else without the organisers’ prior agreement. The retreat has a limited number of places, priced and arranged against a fixed guest count — an unannounced substitution could disrupt the room and catering arrangements already made for the confirmed guest list.

4. Voluntary Participation & Assumption of Risk

The practices offered at this retreat can bring on unusual psychological, emotional and physical states. You participate voluntarily, aware that these states may occur. Your body’s response can’t be predicted with complete accuracy, and you accept the risk of an adverse physical or emotional response. You’re responsible for judging your own fitness to participate, and for any resulting injury to yourself or loss or damage to your property, except where caused by TIH’s or Krisz’s negligence.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for gross negligence or wilful misconduct — this can’t be excluded under Norwegian law. Outside of that, neither TIH nor Krisz is liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your participation.

This release and assumption of risk protects TIH and Krisz equally, and extends to the organisations that trained or certified either facilitator in TRE®, SOMA Breath, or HeartMath, to the same extent.

5. Health & Contraindications

This section describes known contraindications for the practices offered at this retreat. It is not a complete medical risk assessment.

Neither TIH nor Krisz reviews, assesses, or screens any guest’s health information. Deciding whether this retreat is appropriate for you is your responsibility alone. If any condition below applies to you, or if you’re otherwise unsure whether this retreat is right for you, consult a medical professional before booking — TIH and Krisz rely entirely on your own judgment and do not independently verify it.

5.1 Psychiatric history. If you have a current or past diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD with active symptoms, psychosis, suicidal ideation, or another psychiatric condition or emotional crisis that has required or could require hospitalisation, get clearance from a treating medical professional before booking.

5.2 TRE. Do not practice TRE during pregnancy, or if you have epilepsy or a seizure disorder, active schizophrenia, or a recent open-wound surgery. Practice with care and under guidance if you have difficulty self-regulating, physical pain that increases with tremoring, or are under psychiatric treatment. TRE can surface strong emotional material; you can stop at any time. If you have a complex trauma history, fragile psychological defences, or significant physical limitations, get your medical practitioner’s consent before taking part.

5.3 Breathwork. Do not do forceful mouth breathing, prolonged breath holds, or intense fast breathing if you have a severe or critical illness or infection affecting your breathing, severe uncontrolled hypertension, organ failure or late-stage terminal illness, are pregnant, or have epilepsy, a pacemaker, or an irregular heartbeat, unless your doctor has given specific permission. Tinnitus or a hernia may be aggravated by this kind of breathing.

5.4 Cacao ceremony. Ceremonial cacao is a stimulant related to caffeine and contains MAO-inhibiting compounds. Speak to your doctor before drinking cacao if you take SSRI or MAOI medication, have a heart condition or high or low blood pressure, or are pregnant. Cacao amplifies the effect of other substances in your system. Tell us about any allergies or dietary needs in advance.

5.5 Guided meditation. Guided meditation can bring on altered states of consciousness and, rarely, dissociation or an abreaction (a sudden release of previously suppressed emotion or memory).

5.6 Morning movement. Morning sessions involve gentle movement and stretching. If you have a recent injury, a joint condition, or have had recent surgery, take part at your own pace and tell your facilitator beforehand — movement can be modified or skipped for any session.

5.7 Emergency contact. When you register, you’ll be asked for an emergency contact’s name and phone number, held solely for use in a medical emergency during the retreat. See TIH’s Privacy Policy for how this is handled.

5.8 Declaration. By registering for this retreat, you confirm that you have read this section in full, and that either none of the conditions listed above apply to you, or that you have sought the medical guidance described above before booking. TIH and Krisz rely on this confirmation and do not independently verify your medical history.

6. Travel & Medical Insurance

You’re responsible for arranging your own travel insurance and health/medical insurance covering the full dates of the retreat, including cover for medical treatment in Hungary and for cancelling or cutting short your trip. Neither TIH nor Krisz provides this cover, arranges it on your behalf, or is responsible for the cost of medical treatment, repatriation, or travel disruption you incur before, during, or after the retreat.

If you’re travelling from outside the EU/EEA, check what your insurance and any visa requirements need before you book.

7. Conduct, Alcohol & Recreational Drugs

7.1 Respectful conduct. Guests, facilitators and venue staff are expected to treat each other with respect throughout the retreat. TIH or Krisz may refuse to admit, or may end the participation of, any guest whose behaviour is abusive, threatening, or otherwise seriously inappropriate toward another guest, a facilitator, or the venue’s staff.

7.2 Alcohol & recreational drugs. Do not attend the retreat, or any of its sessions, under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, and do not bring, use, offer, or share alcohol or recreational drugs with other guests before or during the programme. Several of the retreat’s practices don’t mix safely with alcohol or other substances — this rule protects you, not just good order.

7.3 Consequence. Where TIH or Krisz ends your participation under this section, no refund is given for the unused portion of the retreat. This is the conduct referred to elsewhere in these Terms as excluding a pro-rated refund.

8. Confidentiality Between Guests

This retreat involves group sessions where guests may share personal, emotional, or otherwise sensitive experiences. Treat what another guest shares as confidential — don’t repeat, record, or share it, including on social media, without that person’s explicit permission.

This expectation is between guests. It doesn’t limit TIH’s or Krisz’s own recording and marketing use under Section 10, or your right to talk about your own experience. A serious breach of this section may be treated as a conduct issue under Section 7.

9. Third Parties

Neither TIH nor Krisz is liable for the acts of independent third parties, including the venue operator, accommodation provider, or cook. Your arrangement for food and accommodation is directly with the venue, on the venue’s own terms.

10. Recording, Photography & Likeness

Photographs and video may be taken at the retreat and used by both TIH and Krisz for their own marketing and publicity — including on TIH’s website and social media, and on Krisz’s own social media and channels — in any language or format. You waive any claim to payment or royalties for this use.

If you don’t want your image used this way, tell TIH or Krisz before, during, or after the retreat, and it will be removed from future use. This won’t exclude you from participating. We’ll take reasonable steps to avoid using identifiable images of you and to remove existing ones on request, though we can’t guarantee removal from group or wide shots taken during a live session.

11. Right of Withdrawal & Cancellation

11.1 Right of withdrawal. Consumer purchases made online normally carry a 14-day right of withdrawal under Norwegian and EU distance-selling law. This retreat is exempt from that right: it is a leisure service tied to a specific date, a category the law excludes from the 14-day right precisely because the date, not a change of mind, is what the booking depends on. Instead, your cancellation rights are as set out below.

11.2 If you cancel. If you need to cancel, what you get back depends on how much notice you give us:

  • Cancel 30 days or more before the retreat and you get the full retreat fee back.
  • Cancel less than 30 days before and the fee is not refunded.

11.3 If the organisers cancel. The organisers may cancel the retreat if it doesn’t reach its minimum guest number by 1 November 2026. If they do, you’ll receive a full refund of the retreat fee.

11.4 If your participation is ended. If TIH or Krisz ends your participation for a reason other than your own conduct under Section 7, you’ll be offered a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of the retreat.

11.5 How refunds are issued. Because Krisz holds the retreat fee, refunds are issued by him. Contact him directly at krisztian.kormany@gmail.com, or write to support@integrated-human.com and TIH will help coordinate.

11.6 Outside anyone’s control. Where something outside either organiser’s reasonable control prevents the retreat from going ahead as planned — illness, injury, a natural disaster, or similar — the organisers will offer a rescheduled date or a fair solution where possible.

11.7 Your statutory rights. Nothing in this section removes any non-waivable consumer right you have under the law of your country of residence.

12. Complaints

If you have a concern about the retreat, raise it with TIH or Krisz at the time, so it can be addressed while you’re still there. If it isn’t resolved, or you’d rather raise it afterward, contact support@integrated-human.com or krisztian.kormany@gmail.com.

Unresolved consumer complaints can be brought to Forbrukertilsynet (the Norwegian Consumer Authority) or the Forbrukerklageutvalget (Consumer Disputes Board). If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU/EEA, you may also have access to your own country’s equivalent body.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Norwegian law, consistent with TIH’s general Terms. If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA, this does not take away the protections that the mandatory law of your own country of residence gives you.

14. This Document and TIH’s General Terms

This document is the Terms & Conditions for The Integrated Retreat, and governs the retreat itself — payment, participation, contraindications, cancellation, and everything else addressed above. Where anything here differs from TIH’s general Terms & Conditions, this document applies.

TIH’s general Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, at integrated-human.com, continue to govern your general use of the website, and anything about the retreat not specifically addressed above. By registering for the retreat, you accept both this document and TIH’s general Terms.
